There has been lot of schemes that has been announced. One of them is the Ujwala Yojana. But it has failed in the sense that those allowed are finding it extremely difficult to continue. Because of the high cost of refilling, the equipment is either lying idle or has been given to their relatives who could afford OR like a laptop Yojana of different state where these laptops were sold off, the equipment may have been sold off. Similarly the awas Yojana is there where there may no takers. Many Yojanas are on paper only and yet to see the day. There is this sauchalaya (toilet) yojna where in the sauchalaya are without water and have become unusable. However it was announced that the target of sauchalaya construction has been completed. Then there is rural electrification but the ground situation is different because no electric supply is there. Talking of sauchalaya, water supply is not there, reminds everyone that drinking water is not available then how can a sauchalaya be in working condition. So instead of giving weight on electrification the water connection should have been given priority because water is essential not only humans but also for animals as well and also for farming.
