WHY WERE THE BRITISH ABLE TO DEFEAT HAIDAR ALI TIPU SULTAN

Britisher were able to defeat them because they involve maratha with them to fight against tipu sultan as maratha and tipu sultan were enemy of then which is used by Britisher.
