the Delhi Sultan were interested in cutting down forest because they wanted to increase their Kingdom and spread their tule . they also wanted to create space for storing files and make archives . yes today also it happens because population is increasing day by day and so demand of house is also increasing and for building buildings people cut down forest for demand of land.
