Delhi sultans cut frost to make way to other state for army as they wanted to enlarge the empire. No deforestation occur for the same reasons today.

The Delhi Sultans interested in cutting down forests to give land to the peasants for carry out agriculture practice .Also new fortresses and towns wre established to protect trade route and to promote regional trade . They also cleared forest in order to safeguard frontiers and  quick movement of their army .
In today
deforestation occur due to construct road , houses , railways etc .So we say that deforestation occur for the same reasons today .
