The Hills’ written by Manoj Das is an interesting story with mysterious. It is about the memorable experiences in the protagonist life and is narrated very well by the narrator. Manoj Das is a by lingual poet, short story writer, essayist, critic editor in Oria and English. Even though the story begins with mystery it also conveys an important message at its end.

Jaidev, the hero of the poem is a famous lawyer. The lesson is about the two most memorable experiences in Jaidevs’s life which took place in the hills of Salanda.  In the story, he narrates his first experience to a millionaire Sajan Roy and his two partners who have hired him for two days. He describes his first experience while travelling in the car to the hills of Salanda. Sajan Roy interrupted Jaidev whenever he wanted to know of the legal aspects of situation in Jaydev’s narration, but Jaidev was never distracted. The bungalow were they would stay was built by a raja and that was the place from where Jaydev’s first experience begins.
