The Indians were disappointed with the Morley-Minto reforms, government of India act 1919 and the Simon commission because there were no Indian members in the Simon commission.

The Indians opposed the commission with the slogan “Simon go back.”

The Indian legislative enactment of 1909 was named as the Morley-Minto reforms.

It conferred political reforms encouraging the constitutionalist in the congress.
