The creation of linguistic States was first and the major test for democratic politics in our country. If we see our history, we can find that many states have been vanished and many new states have came in India. This was done to ensure that people who spoke the same!e languages lived in same state.
Advantages :
∆ This had made administration easier.
∆ Formation of linguistic states has actually made the country more united.
∆ It gave the best option for leaders and government to divide the country for administration.

Linguistic states are the ones which promote one particular language.They were created to recognise differences based on culture , ethnicity or geography
Eg.. Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand.
Advantages :
