The ancient mariner had killed the harmless Albatross for no reason.On other hand,all the mariners regarded the Albatross as a Christain soul as he had taken out of the land of ice and snow. After the killing of Albatross ,the mariners had to undergo lot of suffering.They got sucked in silent sea where there was misery all around.They were thirsty but had no water to drink.They were physically and mentally exhuasted.Thus they got angry with the Ancient Mariner.
