Why were the methods of the radicals(extremists) wrong and why were the moderates more influential in obtaining swaraj(freedom) ?

the answer is:-

to achieve freedom from British rule,people use different kinds of ways like violence and speech.

The way of extremists was to achieve freedom by violence which isn't a right way because in the road of fighting with fists there is no end.

on the other hand,the moderates was to deliver speech and motivate the people to fail the main mission of British ( to earn and loot money from india).

so if the main reason fails,British have to move automatically.

that's why moderates were right.
