POWRES OF EAST INDIA COMPANY WERE TRANSFERED TO BRITAIN'S ADMINISTRATION BECAUSE--
In 1858, British parliament passed a law through which the power for governance of India was transferred from the East India Company to the British crown. Thus India became officially a British colony as British crown took control of India from East India Company. The rule of the East India Company finally came to an end.
