Sher Shah was a brilliant administrator. He introduced India's first rupia. He created Sarkars and Parganas, developed infrastructure.

He even reformed the tax and land revenue systems.

It was his model of administration on which Akbar expanded and became successful. It is for these measures that his reforms were greatly appreciated.
