Answer:
There were many reasons why the people were unhappy under the British rule.
Explanation:
Britishers were dominantly ruling over India. They had came just for their business purpose. But, seeing our loose political system, they tried to conquer over us, in which they succeeded. They annexed many territories by making treaties with kings and other rulers of some regions.
Now, coming to the point, why were the people unhappy under the British rule.
- Britishers were ruling over us by injustice. They were providing every thing that Brithishers required. But none to Indians.
- They were doing partiality in every subject. They always thought the good of Britishers and bad of Indians.
- They always tried to steal something precious from India. Like the Peacock Throne, Kohinoor Diamond, golds, and rest valuable treasuries from India.
- People said that there was a time, when India was known as 'The Golden Bird' or 'Sone ka Bharat'. But, Britishers continuously looted from India, which was one of the most important cause for poverty.
