the tribunes were so upset at the beginning of the play :-
1) Julius Caesar won the battle against rival and former co - ruler of pompey and then the tribunes thought he will impose one - man rule that they dont want.
2) Julius Caesar was not the royal blood but he became the Caesar and ruling upon the royal blood.
3) Julius Caesar become one of the most powerful man of the rome, tribunes become jealous from his victory there is a image made by Julius's conspirators that he is a bird flying so high and now we must bought him to his level.
4) Cassius was so intelligent that he used all the tribunes and conspirators for his work so that he can become the Caesar.
