why were turks successful in invading India?

during illututmish reign the mongol turks under chengiz khan came to invade india while chasing rhe shah of iran who wanted to seek shelter in india but illututmish refused. then during mahmud of ghazni reign he raided india 17 times he also spread islam among the people. when Muhammad ghori defeated prithiviraj in second battle of tarrain the turks were successful to invade india.

in 1453 ad, the Ottoman turks conquered Constantinople which was the capital of Byzantine empire the overland trade routes joining Asia and Europe went through this city since the Ottoman turks blocked this route for the European countries to reach Asia this led to a new phase of geographical discoveries.
