Why Western Ghats of India more tropical wet than eastern ghats? Give reasons for your answer.

because western ghat 's mountain role as a better barrier to the clouds. its slope pattern is the reason. thats why here precipitation happens more. when the cloud reaches eastern ghat it is almost dry so precipitation happens less in eastern ghat
