lead nitrate undergoes thermal decomposition..lead monoxide,nitrogen dioxide and oxygen are the products..

when LeadNitrate is heated, it decomposes into lead oxide ,nitrogen dioxide and oxygen. The heating of Lead Nitrate does produced toxic Fumes of lead and Nitrogen dioxide. The temperature at which this compound decomposes is 878 degrees Fahrenheit.
