They are grown in rainy season, whichin India, is generally from June to September. These crops are also called "summer crops". Wheat is a Rabi crop which is grown in winter. Ifwheat is grown in the Kharif season, it will not grow well, because wheatplants cannot tolerate too much waterof the rainy season.

Wheat cannot grow during summer and rainy because it needs a dry and cold temperature for its growth and all the plants have there fix time of growth.
