1) The drop of blue ink diffuses in water and thus the colour of solution becomes blue.In other words, the particles of blue ink mix with particles of water and the resultant solution is blue in colour.
2) The intermolecular spaces between gas molecules are large and due to negligible intermolecular attraction these molecules move in a random motion with high speed.Due to this gases diffuse fast.
