HLO MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER

. The speed of light is constant in vaccum for all colours , but it depends on the wave length of light when it passes through a medium.

. We know that refractive index of a medium depends on wavelength of light

. When white light passes through a medium , each colour selects its least time path and we have refraction of different colours to different extents.

. This results in seperation of colours , producing a spectrum.

. It has been experimentally found that refractive index decreases with an increase in wavelength.

. In VIBGYOR , red colour has longest wavelength and voilet colour has shortest wave length . The refractive index of red is low , hence it suffers low deviation.

Answer:

Explanation:

This is due to the phenomenon of dispersion of white light, this happens due to change of medium.
