Bcuz it is in the basis of order of reflection of lightand in the wavelength of the spectrum.

LoveJapan: eh?
LoveJapan: matlab.....kuchh bhi na?
LoveJapan: beta, agar aisa likho ge toh tumhe 5 mein se 1 bhi na mile!

White light splits while passing through prism because all the seven colour which constitutes the white light have different wavelengths.Red has maximum of wavelength and bends least during refraction and violet has minimum of wavelength and bends the most during refraction.Hence, followed by other colours, they bend according to their wavelengths and gives the spectrum.

Plz mark as the brainliest! ^_^
