Answer:This Is Because. Viruses are not biological organisms so they are not classified in any kingdom of living things. They do not have any organelles and cannot respire or perform metabolic functions. Viruses are merely strands of DNA or RNA surrounded by a protective protein coat called a capsid

Viruses do posses genetic material that it can be DNA or RNA but they do not posses ribosomes as many other organisms do because of that reason they cannot synthesize their own proteins and cannot replicate their genetic material and for that purpose they do need some host to help for that replication hence they are being intracellular obligate parasites - this is the first reason viruses cannot live and reproduce individually and the second reason is that they dont posses all membrane bound cell organelles and specific cell membrane or rigid cell wall for that reason they neither be prokaryotes nor eukaryotes moreover outside a living host cell they just behave like a crystallized structure and hence they are not included in Whittaker system of classification
