Why will a city that lies on the Equator which is located on the plains far away from the coast will be hot in summers and cold in winters

Answer:

Because it doesn't have any way for breezes and in summer only transpiration takes place and makes it more humid and make weather hot and in winter no transpiration takes place and the level of humidity is low so it is cold.
