tha reason that I know is
• air resistance ( the sheet has more surface shown and compared to the crumbled paper)
• talking about the mass toh I would say that mass as well as weight is same in both the cases!...

A sheet of paper has a large surface area. So it experiences a greater air resistance while falling than a crumpled ball. Thus it falls slower.
