Cutting trees will adversely affect the atmosphere in numerous ways. It increases the amount of Carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere which ultimately leads to global warming. It also results into low rainfall. Due to which water table decreases. The most important one is that it reduces the amount of oxygen gas which is life supporting gas. Trees help in binding soil but when there are no trees at all, then it will lead to soil erosion. Trees are the purifier of Air. These are the "green lungs "of atmosphere.
