This was so Because there livelihood depended upon the crops harvested. Since the hailstorm had destroyed his crops, he felt that this harvest season he would not be able to have any profit or earn something to feed feed his family. Thus, Lencho and his family would go hungry if they do not get the help to sow back his fields again!
