Sol. Stretching of a spring is a physical change because as we know that physical change is a reversible change and it can change again and again so it is a physical change and so when it stretch it expand and come to its mean position.

Stretching of a spring can be considered as a physical change because while stretching a spring it expands and then when we leave it comes back to its original position and it cannot be reversed by reversal of conditions
