Flowers are colourful and produce nectar to attract insects like houseflies, butterflies, etc. for pollination by insects. This is not necessary for wind and water pollinated flowers. Therefore, they aren't very colourful and don't produce nectar.

Answer:

Explanation:

Wind and Water pollinated flowers are not colorful, not attractive, don't produce nectar. This is due the pollen grains loses some characters in the fluidity of water and force of wind. May be the nectar producing characters in pollen grains are easily removable. So, the water and wind easily neglect it.

This causes that flowers not to produce nectar...........

Whereas in Insects, the insects are handled the pollen grains with smooth care. So, the pollen characters won't be affected.
