Hi friend here is your answer,
We know that, winnowing is a processing of separating husk and dust from grain by the use of wind.
How??? Let us know.............
Small husk particles are lighter un weight than grain particles of wheat so we use a flat object to spread that mixture of grain and wheat.
After it when wind starts small dusts and husk blow up and separates from the grain because grain are heavier and not blow by wind.
Therefore, in the process of winnowing we need wind so we shold choose a windy day for doing it.
HOPE IT HELPS YOU A LOT ☺☺☺☺☺☺
