Reason why there is no plant life in the Aphotic zone:
In the aphotic zone, there is not enough light, cold condition and high-pressure environment. This is not a suitable condition to grow plants as the plant produces food by the process of photosynthesis in the presence of the sunlight.
But some of the animals which can be seen in the Aphotic zones are copepods, anglerfish, algae, fangtooth, anternfish, etc. There are some of the albino plants which have no chlorophyll but they adapted to survive in the unfavorable condition in the aphotic zone.
