woolen clothes are actually made from the wool which is in other words the body hair of the sheep. So this is obviously a biodegradable one. But the nylon is a polymer. So this tend to be more strong in order to degrade.

Woollen clothes are made from wool which is an animal fibre and so can easily decompose. Wool being a natural fibre is easily biodegradable.

EXPLANATION:

Nylon on the other hand is an artificial fibre and made from polymers. The polymers are very difficult to break and do not easily degrade. Nylon being a synthetic fibre cannot be easily decomposed.

Woollen clothes are environment friendly in the sense that they degrade quickly. This is as opposed to nylon which if degrades takes a lot of time and therefore is not good for the environment.
