In uniform circular motion the body is constantly under the influence of centripetal force that is directed towards centre of the circle and the body always tends to follow a tangential path to the circle that is the displacement of body is perpendicular to the centripetal force......
NOW
work is an scalar product or dot product and since centripetal force is perpendicular to the displacement and as cos of 90 degree is zero therefore work done on an object in uniform circular motion is zero......
hope it proves to be useful.......
if any query plz let me know......
