Idols do not represent the True Creator of this Universe. Generally speaking, Idols are treated as something which connects human beings to creator something which itself not a god but act like an intercessor to god
problem is that nobody khnows exactly the shape and behaviour of god .
in holy quran god says that he has sent messangers to every nation so that the people guided to right path the path which leads to him the people started praying to their creator without any idols or images
