Yes realize that the sand uses to make glass in a network of silicon oxide silicon has 14 proton in the periodic table . gold has 79 proton in a periodic table . so when scientists harness the power of stars this can be mainstream.

joopitahmolez: that has nothing to do with my question. I'm not talking about chemistry, I'm talking about economics you sad excuse for a higher primate

The sand used to make glass is of a network of silicon oxides, and Silicon has 14 protons in the periodic table, while gold has 79 protons in the periodic table,

Add 65 protons to turn the silicon once you separated it from its oxides into gold which requires fusion which requires a lot more energy than a simple synthesis chemical reaction.

So when scientists can harness the power of stars, then this can be mainstream. I don't expect that happening anytime soon, though.
