Why would life not be possible on the earth in the absence of photosynthesis?

When photosynthesis does not take place the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere gets increased and the oxygen level gets decreased.Therefore,without photosynthesis life would not be possible..

bc without photosynthesis plants can not make their food. they will die without food . after plants animals have no other option to get food.



the main other reason is, due to photosynthesis exchange of gases also takes place. in the abscence of photosynthesis amnt. of co2 in the air become excessive
