why would the weight of an object be maximum at the poles and mimimum at the equator?​

beacuse of acceleration due to gravity.the gravity always pulls the object t o the center.so, the weight is in equator the gravity is less because it is in center and when it is in poles it is far away from center .so that gravity is more
