Why would you advice a person to sit rather than stand in a moving bus?

It is because if a person stands in a moving bus he may fall or collide with something or someone in the bus when the driver in the bus apply sudden brakes which is described in Newtons third law of motion“The net force on an object (or system of objects) equals the rate at which the object’s momentum changes.” Hope it helps you.
