- Spring is made out of a straight wire that is Coiled helical form so as to act like an elastic.
- So when a spring is pulled and left it tends to come back to the position in which it was stationed originally, hence pulling the spring can be called as a reversible change.
- The pushing of the spring will have the same reaction as the pulling of it will have it will try to retain its original shape.
- Hence it is used as shock absorber and also used in places like the doors where constant stretching occurs.
- To deform the spring back into its original straight wire form it has to undergo very high pressure and force.
