Answer:
Fluorine is the highest electro negative element and because of that it even pulls the electron from inert gases and H is not so electro negative to attract e from inert gases

Due to electronegativity and size
Explanation:
- This is a very important difference to be noticed that XeF2 exist but not XeH2.
- This is due to the electronegativeness and also the size.
- Xe is a noble gas with big size, and having a complete octet.
- A highly electronegative element can balance the polarity of the compound whereas in the case of non electronegative element the electronic repulsion between the small sized atom and electron pairds would rise and hence would not be able to exist.
- This is one of the main reason for the non existence of XeH2.
- Also one more factor adding to the stability of the XeF2 is the polarity balance due to the pulling factor of both Fluorines.
