Why xylem and phloem called as complex tissues? How are they different from one another?

simple tissues are those tissues which are made of same kind of cells

complex tissues are made up. of different kinds of cells

for example :-xylem is formed by xylem parenchyma, xylem schlerenchyma etc

they r different as

xylem carries water and minerals

but

phloem carries food

xylem carries water from roots to upper parts

while

phloem carries food from leaves to upper and lower parts both
