Why you don't feel your weight while standing on a falling elevator?

it is all about the force of gravity my friend. when you are going up in a elevator you feel positive G's but when you go down you start to experience negative G's which means that gravity has less of an effect on you thus creating the feeling you get of weightlessness when an elevator goes down
