Well, this type of question have to be answered according to exam, situation and mindset of the person .So you can write like following
I want to take the exam in order to test myself and my abilities.The most correct reason is "because i want to get their position than i am now (regarding job or education)" . Also this exam will be the prove of my abilities in the society. Moreover, it's my keen desire to get this position and improve in it (regarding job). I think this exam will be the best opportunity to fulfill my desire .
