-Learning from school to university becomes more individual. This means students have less help from teachers and are expected to keep up with work themselves.

-Some students find part time jobs that can impact their time in university due to dealing with the struggle of learning and working at the same time.

-Deadlines are more enforced in university. Homework deadlines in school aren't always taken seriously but in university if you don't submit an assignment by a specific, set in stone time you will fail that assignment.

-Financial strain. University costs money and this can put some students at a disadvantage. Some students can't afford it whilst others can but constantly have to worry about the costs which impacts their learning due to stress.

-A lot of students move away for university from their family, friends and city they grew up in. A new environment can be challenging for them.
