School is a place where students are taught everything from the starting and everything is spoon feeded whereas in universities everything is more strict and all your work has to be done by yourself. No helping hand is provided in the university whereas in school everyone helps you with your problems.

The environment of a school and a university is completely different.
It is quite hard to adapt to since we spend almost 12 years in school and it becomes a habit.
School is far more disciplined, routine oriented and offers proper guidance to each student.
They focus on helping you grow and develop.
Whereas in university, they treat you like adults and thus you have to do most of the studying yourself.
The professors will never spoon feed.
