why zimbabwe can not be called democratic country

becz people living there i.e in Zimbabwe doesn't get any fundamental rights like right to equality,right to constitutional remedies,etc..They are not treated equally and couldn't express their views and opinions for the country's developement.Dictator ship type of rule is taking place discriminating the wishes of the public.

This is because the party which led freedom struggle in Zimbabwe that is ZANU PF with its leader Mugabe was doing unfair practices like harassing the opposition party workers giving more power to the president, only one party was ruling , they punished everyone who questioned or opposed them. Eventually they turned Zimbabwe into a dictatorship. Hence Zimbabwe under ZANU PF cannot be called a democracy. If you are satisfied with this answer please rate it.
