In the poem “My True family” the poet wakes up twice from sleep. As the poet was dreaming, he saw that he was waking up in dreams, but it was actually in real life. He was in a state of trance in his dreams. The second time the poet woke thinking that that trees belonged to his family. Both the feelings were imaginary, and the poet woke up due to that.
