There is various type of microprogrammed control unit addressing which are applicable.

They are:-

1 -hardwired control unit - When the control signals are generated by hardware using the conventional logical design techniques, the control unit is called hardwired.

2- microprogrammed control unit - A control unit whose binary control the variables are stored in the memory is called a microprogramme control unit.
