Answer:

Let length of the rectangle be x m.

=> Width = 1/3 x m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( L+B)

=2(x + 1/3 x)m

=2×4/3x m

= 8/3x m

=168m

ATQ.

8/3 x =168

=> x= 168 ×3/8

=> x=63 m

So length=63 m

width = 1/3 ×63m

= 21m

So length is 63m and width is 21 m.
