Answer:
I am unable to understand your first question , first part
the object which have policed surface and absorbe less light due to its High optical density
1(a) shadow form when light is unable to touch surface when oppace object is placed, then mostly light is absorbed and blocked due to which a black formation as shape of object is called shadow
b) it's characteristics are
shadow required a surface for its formation
it always formed in opposite direction from where light is comming
it is always black
it's shape is always same as object
its size may be smaller or bigger or same as object
2.image is formed when light from object travel to a policed surface and bounce back (reflection) of light and come back to our eyes and we can see it easily
note= here I am not going to explain again shadow again so you can add from upper part
image is colourful where shadow is black
image is reflection of light where shadow is reflection of light
image required a plane policed surface where shadow required only a surface it's not matter whether it is policed or not, smooth or rough
