Why do wild animals raid crops?

Wild animals raiding crops is definitely a sign of environmental degradation. When animals which live in the wild move to human habitations, it is usually in search of food. Their food which they normally get from the forest is depleted and that is the reason why they move on to raid crops.

Man should take care to see that they do not encroach forests which is the habitat for wild animals. Also, human beings should take only what is necessary for their sustenance from the forests and leave the rest behind for the wild animals.

When this proper balance is maintained between humans and animals, it will prevent Man-Animal conflicts to a great extent.
