Answer:

Picturesque peaks, rugged rock faces, deep gorges, a famous mountaineer's grave and adventurous climbs - all this and much more awaits you in the Kaiser Mountains around the Wilder Kaiser. In the majestic mountain world in the heart of Tyrol, you will find turquoise mountain lakes, lush alpine meadows and challenging passes. The Kaiserkrone takes you once around the Wilder Kaiser and shows you its most beautiful sides over a 40 miles (65 km) circuit.

This Collection will guide you through the Kaiserkrone in five wonderfully varied stages. Some of them are quite challenging and require sure-footedness and a head for heights. Adventure and thrill await you at the same time and reward is always around the corner: breathtaking panoramas of the Kaisergebirge and the surrounding Kitzbühel Alps as far as the eye can see. Spend a few evenings in cosy alpine huts to complete your adventure.

Each stage starts and ends at a mountain hut or village with several accommodation options. As the huts are very popular, especially in summer, we recommend booking a spot online in advance. Often the mountain huts with a wonderful view over the Kaisergipfel and the Inntal valley are located directly on the route. The huts are beautiful places to rest: in some of them you can even listen to the harmonious sound of a harp. Don't forget to pack your hut sleeping bag which is essential for some huts.

The Hüttling hiking car park at the starting point of your route is pay-and-display and reserved for day hikers whereas parking at the fire station is free of charge. You can park your car for several days here. The starting point is about an hour walk from here, or you take the green line of the free hiking bus. This will take you directly to the Hüttling hiking car park.
